HK Burmese Python

Archival pigment print (limited edition)

Introducing the Burmese Python (Python bivittatus)

First in a New Hong Kong Snake Series by Nissa Kauppila

Capturing of one of Hong Kong’s most recognized snakes, this painting pays tribute to the quiet presence of the Hong Kong Burmese python, Python bivittatus. This piece marks the very first chapter in a series dedicated to capturing the variety and beauty of Hong Kong’s native snake species. The featured 11 species are also targets of a HKU-driven research project funded by Ocean Park Conservation Fund. Both the original painting and a strictly limited run of archival prints are now available for collectors.
