Ivan Trieu
Ivan Trieu was born in Saigon, and spent his childhood mainly in Vietnam. He moved to Hong Kong in 1976, when civil war brought Vietnam political chaos and the end of the freedom of expression.
Trieu graduated in Caritas Bianchi College of Design in 1987. He studied Figure Drawing and Creative Drawing in the School of Continuing Studies of the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1989, and graduated from Phoenix Advanced Research Class of Beijing Institute of Contemporary Chinese Freehand Oil Painting in 2017.
Young Trieu embraced Mother Nature and developed a passion for artistic creation, particularly oil painting, water colour and photography. He has worked as a visualizer, art director in a number of advertising companies.
